About Us

Precious Bottoms Diaper Service and Baby Boutique is owned and operated by Rachelle and Erik Nelson.

With the birth of their son, Landen, in 2009 Rachelle researched cloth diapers vs. disposables and other environmentally friendly alternatives to improve her family's everyday life. They decided to use a cloth diaper service in Tehachapi, CA.

In September 2010, Rachelle and Erik bought the cloth diaper service and changed the name to Precious Bottoms Cloth Diaper Service. As the cloth diaper movement has continued to grow, they decided to expand and opened their online Baby Boutique in March 2011. With the launch of the baby boutique, Precious Bottoms Diaper Service and Baby Boutique is now a one-stop-shop for moms and dads! You can find cloth diapers, cloth diaper accessories, and many other natural parenting supplies and goodies.  Precious Bottoms' main goal is to educate families about cloth diapers and natural parenting, and to ultimately get as many babies as possible into cloth diapers!

In 2012, we found wonderful partners and made plans to expand the business to add Precious Bottoms Diaper Service of San Diego.  Our San Diego Partners are Kasey and Tim Owen of Vista, CA.  Kasey and Tim are deticated cloth diaper and natural birthing advocates. In April of 2012 they welcomed there daughter, Quinnlyn, to their family.
